Pages turn blocks and sections into dedicated customer account destinations.

Good starting points

Build a welcome page, help center, contact page, or order-help page. Choose a template as an editable starting point, then replace its sample copy, images, and links. Publishing pages requires Pro or Advanced. You can prepare drafts and previews before upgrading. See plans and limits.

Create and place a page

  1. Open Pages in Account Canvas.
  2. Create a page or select an available template.
  3. Add sections, then add the blocks each section needs.
  4. Edit customer-facing content and every link or button.
  5. Add visibility rules only where needed.
  6. Save and activate the page when ready.
  7. Add the matching Account Canvas page location in Shopify’s customer account editor and select or connect your page using the settings shown there.
  8. Save in Shopify and open the destination as a test customer.
Creating a page does not automatically create every Shopify navigation link. Confirm that customers have a working way to reach the page.

Understand the page structure

A page is the destination. A section groups related content. A block is an individual item such as an image, FAQ, or form. Management labels in the builder help organize content; they are not a substitute for a block’s customer-facing heading. Review the customer-facing result when leaving optional text blank.

Available locations

There are five general customer account page locations and one order-specific page location. Each location can connect to one active page. The order-specific location needs a verified order context. A general account page cannot assume it knows which order the customer means. Use order-aware workflows only where that context is supplied.

Visibility and preview

You can apply conditions to the page and supported content inside it. A child block cannot make itself visible when its parent section or page is hidden. Preview data can differ from a real customer. Test both an eligible and an ineligible customer, then check mobile layout, link destinations, and empty states. For missing content or the wrong destination, use troubleshooting.
