Install

Install Account Canvas through Shopify for the store you want to customize. Complete the in-app setup, then follow the quickstart. Account Canvas uses Shopify authentication and permissions for supported features. Customer, order, product, store-credit, and B2B capabilities depend on the permissions and account locations available to your store. Keep your Shopify login, app access tokens, and customer session information private. Support will not ask you to send those credentials by email.

Reinstall

Reinstalling requires fresh Shopify authentication. Previously saved content may still be available if final shop cleanup has not occurred. Reinstallation is not a backup or recovery feature, and deleted content cannot be promised to return. After reinstalling, check the connected shop, current plan, active content, and Shopify placements before relying on the customer-facing result.

Before uninstalling

1. Keep copies of merchant content you need for your records.
2. Review any open customer requests and Shopify custom fields created by workflows.
3. Remove or update navigation links that would lead to unavailable app pages.
4. Contact support if you need help with data export or cleanup.

Uninstall and cleanup

Uninstall Account Canvas through Shopify. App access and subsequent data cleanup are separate steps; removing the app should not be treated as proof that every stored copy has already been deleted. Account Canvas handles Shopify’s uninstall and shop-redaction notifications. If an installation’s state cannot be verified safely, cleanup may require reconciliation so that content belonging to a reinstalled app is not deleted incorrectly. Contact support for the status of an outstanding deletion request. Final shop cleanup covers shop-owned Account Canvas content and records. Shared product templates are not owned by an individual merchant. Shopify-hosted workflow fields, legacy order-note entries, and provider backups can require separate cleanup or verification.
